Tips for using social media properly
Unschedule upcoming posts when conduction activism. You don't want to be posting about a serious issue then 1 hour later have a photo of you and your friends.
Listen/think of your viewers before posting. You need to think of how they will take in your information and how it will make them feel. An effective method is making them feel sadness or disgust then rallying them with positive emotions and words.
Don't dismiss tone or emotions. You must think of your audience and how you're coming off to thtme.
Be human. Come off as human and try to relate to your audience. Don't sound like a robot, make your emotions come through.
Make your stance clear and strong. Don't be unsure of you views you want solidarity and confidence.
Show what you're doing. You can show what you're doing to improve your credibility and even give resources for others to do the same

Plan. Plan for all of the good and bad comments you will get. Think of commonly asked questions, don't be scared to say you don't know, apologize, stay calm, and other actions such as these.
Diversify. Make it easy for people of all backgrounds to relate and join in if they want. Even though this article was for companies it also can apply to students and smaller influencers.
